We love software.
Alright, we'll level with you. We're just two guys who love making software. Wholesome engineering and breathtaking design are monumentally important to us. We're driven by passion — not profits — because we believe that working on things we want to use ourselves is the only way to make great stuff.
Who's We?
Truthfully, we're just two young and idealistic guys who value great design and engineering.
Brian Amerige: As the founding software engineer at Extendmac, Brian spends his time envisioning, designing, and developing software. Brian is truly
an engineer at heart, with a diverse
passion for making things that help people. He's an intense guy — a certifiably obsessive-compulsive perfectionist with
extremely high standards.
Olivier Charavel: As an
obscenely talented artist, Olivier spends his time whipping up
pixel-perfect icons, user-interface designs, and mockups. Olivier represents a major portion of what makes Extendmac so agile — his talent allows us to
visualize and define what we're building weeks or even months before a software implementation can be made.
What We Do
We make software that solves complex problems with simple solutions. Specifically, we like to make solutions that people fall in love with; We do this by bringing intuitiveness and simplicity to ideas that are usually relegated to mundane and unplesant "solutions."
Fancy descriptions aside, what we do is truthfully very simple. We make things we want to use ourselves. We have conversations that begin with "wouldn't it be great if..." and "why can't we...". We question the status quo, think fun is more important than money, and love crafting things that make people happy.
Perhaps most importantly, we do things we think are good for the world. We make things that help people, buy carbon offsets, vote for change, and treat our customers like the awesome people that they are.
