Extendmac is both a fun and ethical company. For both your and our protection, the following terms of service exist for using and purchasing Extendmac products. If you need further clarification on anything, please contact legal@extendmac.com.

Terms of Service

  1. Licensing
    1. All Extendmac software is exclusively available in downloadable form. Upon purchase, you will not receive anything at your provided mailing address.
    2. All Extendmac software includes a built-in 15 day fully featured trial. After 15 days, the software will automatically limit each usage session to 10 minutes.
    3. Your purchase grants you a license to use the specified Extendmac software on any and all Apple computers or Apple iPhones you own, depending on which platform the software targets.
      1. Major releases (e.g., 1.0 to 2.0) are not included unless otherwise specified.
      2. Bug fix releases (e.g., 1.0.0 to 1.0.1) and minor-releases (e.g., 1.0 to 1.1) are included for free.
    4. Your license will be sent to the e-mail address you provide at the time of purchase. If you do not receive your license within one business day (usually within 1 to 5 minutes), contact us to manually send your license.
    5. Licenes which are granted as "Not for Resale" or "NFR" are not to be distributed, sold, or transferred, and are to be used exclusively for the promotion, evaluation, and demonstration of Extendmac software.
  2. Warranty
    1. Purchase of Extendmac software includes absolutely no warranty.
    2. While we will stand by and support all licensed software, we are not responsible for any content created or destroyed using Extendmac software.
  3. Refunds
    1. If are not satisfied with your Extendmac software purchase, you may request a full refund at any time within 60 days of purchase. Contact us to request a refund, and let us know how we can do better.
    2. When a refund is granted, you lose your license to use Extendmac software beyond the usage granted for any unlicensed user. See section 1b for more information on what usage is granted for unlicensed users.
  4. Privacy
    1. We collect information from you when you place an order or subscribe to our newsletter.
    2. When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
    3. Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
      1. Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.
      2. The email address you provide for order processing, will only be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order.
      3. If you decide to opt-in to our mailing list, you will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.
    4. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or access your personal information.
      1. We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
      2. After a transaction, your private information will not be stored on our servers.
    5. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
    6. Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
    7. By using our site, you consent to our privacy policy.
    8. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page.

    3. If you're an employee of Apple, Inc. you are exempt from paying for all Extendmac software. Send an e-mail to support@extendmac.com from your @apple.com e-mail address, and we'll send along a free license.
