Blog: What we've done, what we're doing, and what we will do.
Our blog is the place for everything relating to Extendmac; whether it be product updates, news, or tips and tricks. It may not be the most interesting blog on the planet, but we like to think that you'd rather have us build great stuff than write about plans to do so. ;]

I’m happy to announce that Flow 1.2.6 is now available. Version 1.2.6 is a free and recommended update for all users of Flow.

The update is available via in-app software update and via direct download. If you’re interested in reading the full release notes, you can do so here (opens in new window).

A few highlights from the release notes:

  • [Fixed] Issue where bookmarks would have blank names.
  • [Fixed] Issue where bookmarks would not persistently save information.
  • [Fixed] Issue where “Connect” toolbar button would become unusable.

As previously mentioned, we’re hard at work to both internationalize and localize Flow, for version 1.3 and beyond. If you’re interested in providing a localization, let us know in the comments, if you haven’t already.

-Brian.

Very unstable. Sorry. Frequent crashes. OS 10.5.8.

Yeah, I’m getting frequent crashes and pinwheels as well. Other than that it’s a really great program. But it’s nearly unusable with all the crashes.

OS 10.5.7

No crashes so far. But there is no FTPs support, and I’ve not been able to cancel a file transfer. Missing features, or am I just blind?

Same issue, Downloads and Uploads in FTP hang and there is no way to cancel or restart without quiting the program. This program looked really promising.

This has the same problem Dreamweaver’s FTP client has. Whenever it goes idle for a short time and disconnects, if you try to upload a file it takes several minutes of the spinning pin wheel before it gets around to telling you it has failed and aborts the transfer. Coda/Transmit and even FileZilla don’t do this. When I drag and release a file into the window for upload, it would be a good idea to store the directory I’m transferring to then run a check on the connection, and reconnect if I’m not already before Flow starts trying to transfer the file.

This is ridiculous! Why would you publish an ftp client with no option to cancel a transfer?
