Blog: What we've done, what we're doing, and what we will do.
Our blog is the place for everything relating to Extendmac; whether it be product updates, news, or tips and tricks. It may not be the most interesting blog on the planet, but we like to think that you'd rather have us build great stuff than write about plans to do so. ;]

This may not be of interest to most of our readers, but if you’re using our Keychain wrapper, EMKeychain, this is for you:

EMKeychain v1.0 is now available. With it comes the following changes:

  • Re-written for Objective-C 2.0 features, like properties.
  • Ability to remove a keychain item.
  • Streamlined design — no more proxy!
  • Fixes for memory leaks and other bugs.
  • Complete documentation.

If you’re using EMKeychain in your application, I strongly suggest you grab the latest copy and update your code!

Happy Monday!,
Brian.

EMKeychain : A Cocoa Keychain Wrapper

Saturday, December 15th, 2007

Sorry! This isn’t a Flow-news related post ;-)

That being said, it is a somewhat exciting announcement — well, if you’re the type of person to get excited about sexy Cocoa wrapper classes that eliminate the necessity of writing ugly carbon code. We sure are!

Briefly put, today we’re open-sourcing a class we use internally at Extendmac. EMKeychain makes working with OS X’s keychain a whole lot cleaner, shorter, and easier. So if you’re a developer who uses keychain, check it out, it might just make your day.

It certainly made ours!

Edit: Made a few updates to EMKeychain, now at v0.12.
